Project Brief: These villas were designed for developers as prototypes, who proposed to build mid-sized affordable residential communities, with creatively designed units.

Sculpture
Project Brief: This design for a sculpture was an entry for the competition ‘An Idea for India’ from Tata Steel in 2021. The topic was to create a proposal for a sculpture representing India’s culture.
Style and theme: Yoga is India’s gift to the world. This sculpture was designed to look like a person doing the pose of ‘sheershasana’, with the torso representing an arrow pointing upwards, indicating progress. The sculpture is designed to light up at night. The material used is brushed steel, in bronze polish, made to look like brass, representing the brass lamps in the old temples of India.

Trampoline and Gym for the neighborhood
Project Brief: This design was created for a competition on adaptive-reuse in architecture. The brief asked for proposals to renovate an underutilized building in the place of one’s choice. Here, I picked up a multistoreyed car park in the neighborhood that was underutilized, and converted it into an open gym and trampoline park,by enclosing the structure in an envelope.
Style: The envelope around the existing structure is proposed to be made of steel frames with coloured acrylic panels at various intervals. The envelope is open in many areas to allow wind to come into the building. The arrangement of the panels also create a playful effect with lights and shadows.

A White House
Project Brief: This residence was designed for the mother of the client.She was in a wheelchair,so the home was proposed to be a one-floor house.Her family used to visit often,so the home was designed with four bedrooms,majlis and a separate kitchen.
Style: A blend of modern minimalism and classical Islamic architecture,with a geometrically balanced form, and a calm white colour palette.The house is by the side of the beach and the White House is designed to complement the brown sands and blue sky.

Swimming Pool and Games’ Room
Project Brief: A swimming pool and games room was to be designed for an undisclosed client.
Style: The design was made with an intent to create a playful ambience.The pool is indoor, with a retractable roof of steel panels. The steel panels are interrupted by coloured glass panels in between, to incorporate the stained glass effect when the sunlight falls into the swimming pool area. The games room is also designed with a similar mood, to bring up the cheer of the place.

Project Brief: This is a vacation home for the Royalty. The residential complex consists of a main villa, and seven guest villas, by the side of Al Azaiba beach.
Style: Classical Islamic architecture with minimal decorative features on the exterior facade.

Project Brief: A 11-storey tower was to be designed, with maximum rentable office spaces and appropriate site parking.
